Bait 3D Blu-ray Exclusive Clip Shows A Couple Hiding From A Lurking Beast
Kimble Rendall’s Bait 3D may currently be playing in a theater near you. If it’s not, have no fear, the freak tsunami and shark attack movie will be hitting 3D Blu-ray and DVD on September 18. To celebrate the upcoming release, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has dropped us an exclusive sneak peek at a scene from the film that gives us a first taste of a great white shark’s bloodlust and some character's deepest fears. Sharks and tsunamis are usually pretty stressfull, so be prepared for a little potty-mouthed language in the clip.
The Bait 3D scene, called “There’s Something in the Water,” follows a couple and their cute Pomeranian stuck partially underwater in their vehicle after the tsunami hits. A hungry monster is circling the car and the couple are desperate to try to find a way out before the beast catches them or the water drowns them. To make matters worse, the two keep arguing due to stress and the dog keeps panicking. It’s a pretty bad emergency situation, but it makes for plenty of suspense.
Bait 3D will only run fans $29.99, which is a great price for a 3D release, especially one boasting such a decent cast, including Twilight: Eclipse actor Xavier Samuel, Step Up 3D’s Sharni Vinson, Chronicle’s Alex Russell, and Fantastic Four’s Julian McMahon. The exclusive clip misses out on some of the fun supermarket aspects of the shark adventure, but luckily you can check out those in the trailer, which takes itself pretty seriously.
