Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer Teaser Has Arrived, See It Here

It was teased earlier this week that we would soon be getting a very brief look at the first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in advance of a special IMAX theater-based trailer event, and now that footage has arrived! Check it out below in a special message from director Zack Snyder himself:

This cool announcement was made on Zack Snyder's personal Twitter page, and if you click on the link included, you can sign up to attend a special screening of the full trailer this Monday in an IMAX theater near you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there are going to be screenings in every state, but hopefully there will be a location at least somewhat close to all those aching to see the first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer.

So what exactly do we get to see in this footage? Well, sadly the answer is not much. It is, after all, a tease. We don’t even actually get to see stars Henry Cavill or Ben Affleck in the preview, but instead just special new looks at their individual costumes. Here’s Superman’s, put up against what looks like a wall inside the Fortress of Solitude:

And here is the new Batsuit, in what definitely could be the DC Cinematic Universe’s version of the Batcave:

Batman

Overall, this Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser really didn’t deliver anything new – but the truth is that the sky is really the limit for the trailer that will be screened in IMAX on Monday. The film has already given us stills of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor and the new Batmobile, and this will really be the first time the public has had the opportunity to see them in action. Hopefully the preview will let us in on what the movie is about, and give us at least an inkling as to how all of the character play in the story.

Did you pick up your passes for a trailer screening yet? Are you excited? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
