Beavis And Butthead Return To The Big Screen In Jackass 3D
Anyone in their mid- to late-20s learned how to play frog baseball, light their farts on fire, and headbang until their necks bleed from MTV’s original animated troublemakers, Beavis and Butthead. But ever since 1993’s Beavis and Butthead Do America, the duo, despite occasional appearances at MTV awards ceremonies, has been sorely missed. But for those of us who grew up on the dimwits’ adventures, we’re in for a treat come this Friday.
The pair are going to be giving a little introduction in front of Jackass 3D where they’ll fill us in on all things three dimensional, appearing in 3D themselves. Have no fear, though, dear reader. According to /Film, the tag team will be just as cheaply animated as we remember them being and will still live in a hand drawn world. No CG animated update, thank God.
Back in July, it was finally confirmed after years of rumors that Beavis and Butthead would return to their couch on MTV for brand new episodes. Obviously, using Jackass 3D is a great way to hit the exact demographic that would be interested in hearing what a couple of metalheads had to say about music videos new and old.
So if you can’t wait to get a heaping dose of dumb (and I say that with love), then grab yourself a ticket to Jackass 3D this weekend and hear what your favorite perpetually teenaged miscreants have to offer.
