Yes, art forgery. That's the slightly-crazy premise of Carmel, an upcoming drama that has just added Josh Hutcherson to the cast, which already includes Lauren Bacall, Alfred Molina, Dina Eastwood and Hayden Panettiere. Variety says that Hutcherson will play the main character, and presumably Bacall will be the retired local artist who remembers the early days of all these Carmel, CA forgers.
I liked Hutchinson a lot in both Bridge to Terabithia and Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, and this seems like a more grown-up role for him. Given Thomas Crown and all, art forgery rings are fascinating-- if maybe not the most likely underworld for a teenager to fall into.
