Bryan Singer Hints About Peter Dinklage's X-Men: Days Of Future Past Character
Of all the actors officially in the cast list for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past, Peter Dinklage is the only one whose character has yet to be identified. Obviously all of the other stars of the movie have an unfair disadvantage because they will be playing mutants that they played in previous titles in the franchise, the Game of Thrones star's presence adds a bit of mystery to the project's lineup of heroes and villains. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective), the director isn't revealing who Dinklage is going to be playing, but he is offering up hints.
IGN recently had the chance to chat with Singer about the newest X-Men film, and after affirming that Dinklage won't be playing the Marvel hero Puck, he offered up some clues about the character's identity. Beginning by denying rumors that the actor would be playing a CGI character, the director said,
So we're talking about a shorter character who isn't Puck and can be described as not being shy....Okay, it's not a lot to go on, but if Singer was actually trying to tell audiences who Dinklage would be playing then he would just tell us, right? Perhaps once the film goes into production the filmmaker will give us a shot of him in full costume as a big reveal on his Twitter feed.
