If there’s one thing I know, it’s that people hate e-mail newsletters. They clutter up your mailbox, beating you to death with either information that you could have found on your own if you’d wanted it, or useless links to the places you could have gone and found on your own if you’d felt like it. People hate newsletters.
So, it’s with great pride that I announce the return of the Cinema Blend Newsletter. You may remember it from such years as 2003 and 2004, but it’s since lapsed due to extreme laziness on our part and the simple fact that it was never very good.
Well, it still won’t be very good, but I can guarantee it’ll be a lot prettier. We’re relaunching it by putting some actual effort into this time, loading it with great weekly content and maybe, if you’re lucky, even some exclusive information.
The inaugural edition launches in just a few days, on Monday April 18. Not only will it contain a nice selection of what makes Cinema Blend great, but it’ll also be the only way you can hear the first, demo edition of the Cinema Blend Podcast, which ought to itself get rolling within the next few weeks. But, if you want to hear our first stab at audio broadcasting, you’ll have to sign up for our mailing list.
The good news is, that if you hate it, it’s just as easy to unsubscribe as it is to subscribe. So you don’t have to worry about a never-ending tide of ceaseless unstoppable spam possibly containing pictures of men inside the heads of sharks.
