Captain America May Be Headed Back To England For Reshoots
It's rarely a huge deal when a major film undergoes reshoots weeks or even months after principal photography wrap-- Battleship, Thor, Harry Potter and X-Men: First Class have all undergone them this year alone--but always does manage to raise eyebrows all the same. This time the film going back for second helpings is Captain America: The First Avenger, which is currently slated for release on July 22. Crave Online overheard at a Marvel press event that the very Captain America shield they were looking at would be heading back to the UK "in two weeks to be used in reshoots."
Like I said, not a huge surprise, but given that production wrapped last fall it does seem a little last minute. We'll see if Paramount sends out any extra information about what the reshoots might involve or which actors will be back in the UK to participate.
