Captain America's USO Costume Revealed
While I'm fully aware that there are those that disagree, I'm a big fan of the main costume in Captain America: The First Avenger. Practical, realistic and true to the time period while also being faithful to the comics, the costume is an all around winner. That said, however, we've always known that there is going to be more than one suit featured in the movie: there's the one that he uses to go into battle, but there's another that he wears while touring as part of a USO show to support the troops. All of the advertising - from the trailers to the stills - have only shown the primary costume, but now images of the secondary suit have found their way online.
Posted over at MDCU (via Bleeding Cool), the photos look like they've been scanned out of a magazine, though the site doesn't mention the source. What I really like about this costume is that it looks a lot like the suit from the 1990 Captain America movie, which is widely regarded as one of the worst comic book movies of all time. As for all you people complaining about the main suit, just be happy that this isn't the final costume.
Check out the close up below and head over to MDCU to see what the star Chris Evans looks like in the suit while standing in front of a chorus line.
