Chris Morgan Hired To Script Another Fast And The Furious Sequel, Interactive Trailer Released
I'm not sure there are too many people out there who could tell you with a straight face that the Fast and the Furious movies are particularly well-written. Are they full of action? Absolutely. Is there plenty of eye candy for both men and women? Of course. Is the dialogue amazing and the story well crafted? Not so much. Still, writer Chris Morgan has used the franchise to create quite a nice niche for himself, having written the last three movies in the series, including the soon-to-be-released Fast Five. Apparently his gravy train isn't ready to park at the station just yet, however.
THR reports that Chris Morgan has signed a two-year first-look pact with Universal that will kick off with Morgan scripting Fast Six. Outside of the franchise, Morgan is also known for having written Wanted and the upcoming Keanu Reeves action flick 47 Ronin. He is also in the midst of developing a project based on Bakugan, a Japanese cartoon series about battling monsters.
A new interactive trailer for Fast Five has also been released, which you can check out below, courtesy of Yahoo! Fast Five will be released on April 29, and for more on the film be sure to check out our Blend Film Database.
