Chronicle Trailer: What Would You Do If You Had Superpowers?
When a character in fiction learns that they have certain powers and abilities that others don't possess, they have a choice to make: they can either use said powers and abilities for good and to help people, or they can use them for evil. Such is the story of Chronicle, a new film from director Josh Trank and writer Max Landis. Shot as a faux-documentary, the movie is about a group of three friends who acquire superpowers in the woods and go on an unexpected journey.

While I'm not a huge fan of the found-footage format, I must admit that this teaser has definitely piqued my interest. As cool as having powers is, one aspect that I've always been interested in is the psychological side of superhumans and how they choose which path to follow. Judging by this trailer, the character named Andrew will be experiencing an interesting path to the dark side.
The movie stars Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell and Dane DeHaan. Chronicle is scheduled to hit theaters on February 3, 2012.
