Clean Character Posters For G.I. Joe
It’s been a while since we’ve really seen anything on the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra front. Over the summer it seemed like new news came on a nearly daily basis, but the well dried up fast. I guess it’s time for the studio to remind people that the movie is still out there, because new images have suddenly popped up on online.
Four of those grayscale (with red highlight) character posters have popped up online over at Filmz.Ru. These actually are the same posters we saw before over the summer, just with a higher quality to them. Instead of snapshots of the posters, these are legitimate digital versions, allowing for a better look at the posters for Duke (Channing Tatum), Snake Eyes (Ray Park), the Baroness (Sienna Miller), and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans). Actually, that Ripcord poster may be new, but since it’s the least impressive of the batch, I can’t pretend to be excited about it.
I’m a little surprised we haven’t seen a more official wave of publicity. A lot of next summer’s big releases have had some form of teaser trailer show up, but nothing for G.I. Joe. I’ve heard rumors about the trailer not showing up until February, with a possible Super Bowl push for the movie, but I’m hoping we’ll see something before that.
Check out those character posters over at Filmz.Ru.
