You either love Christopher Guest, or you don't. I've always leaned more towards don't. At best his movies have given me a mild cast of the chuckles, but they're not the sort of thing I walk away from quoting with a vehemence. I'm rather lukewarm on his movies. I don't dislike them, but I've never had the desire to re-watch Best In Show for instance, though people tend to keep foisting it upon me as if it's some new discovery.
If you like Christopher, and a lot of you do, then you're probably going to love his latest movie, For Your Consideration. His style and sense of humor remains pretty much the same, as does his cast of actors. The settings shift a little and the actors don different wigs, but basically every movie does the same thing. You'll see what I mean in the clips below.
