Clips And Images From Toronto's Lovely, Still
Cinema Blend’s resident Canadian has been pounding pavement through the streets of Toronto this week, covering the Toronto International Film Festival. He’s had great things to say about a lot of the film’s he’s seen so far, but one of the movie’s he seemed particularly taken with is Lovely, Still. The film stars Martin Landau and Ellen Burstyn in one of those touching, old people dating and falling in love movies. It’s kind of like Cocoon, without the aliens… or at least that’s how I’ve chosen to picture it in my head.
We’ve just found two, very sweet clips and a bit stack of images from the film, to give you a further taste for what it’s about. Watch both clips and see all of our images below. Then make sure you check out all of J.D.’s reports from the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival right here.
