Crank 2 Cranks Up The Language
When the first Crank came out, someone thought it was funny to put together a montage of all the F-bombs in the movie, resulting in a two minute or so long clip of the movies finest language. It was a neat little stunt; a fun little gag. I wouldn’t have considered it as an official trailer for the movie though.
Unfortunately, someone has taken a similar approach for a promotional trailer for Crank: High Voltage. I don’t recall seeing an actual proper trailer for the sequel, yet here we have a red-band trailer that gives the slightest hint of what the movie is about, then a montage of F-bombs, as well as Jason Stathem’s Chev Chelios screwing some girl and shoving his gun up some guy’s rear. These are the highlights of the film?
From what I’ve seen from Twitter feeds and the like, the studio isn’t real happy about this promotional spot appearing online, so who knows how long it’ll stay up. It’s been there for over a day now, and on the Internet that’s a long time, so take a look below. Just be aware that the language is fierce and the implied actions are even worse.
Crank: High Voltage hits theaters April 17th. Credit to The Movie Box, which is where I was made aware of it being online.
