Crashing Again
If your movie makes money it's going to get a sequel, so it's no surprise to anyone that Wedding Crashers, one of the year's biggest money-makers, will get a number 2.
Jane Seymour, who had a minor role in Crashers, spoke to USA Today recently, and revealed that she spoke to the original film's screenwriter Steve Farber. According to Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, Farber told her he's already working on a sequel, and he'll be including her in it.
Jane's character is rather unimportant, so it's a little surprising to hear they'll be wasting any further time with her at all. I'd hate to see them simply rehash the last film, but throwing Vince and Owen back in with Chris Walken's wacky family again. We had enough of that with Meet the Parents 2. If we're lucky, the followup will pick up right where the first film left off; with McAdams driving off into the sunset to crash weddings with the boys.
No word on how much of the original cast will be back, but I'd imagine if you don't have at least Owen and Vince you don't have a movie.
