It looks like the kung fu babes with bouncing boobies movie DOA: Dead or Alive has suffered a setback. The film has been through several release date changes, the last one pushed it back to December 8th of this year. Now The Weinstein Company has knocked it off that release date, and right into a black hole.
For now, according to Box Office Mojo DOA doesn't have a release date in the United States. There's not even a general indication of when it might come out. 2007? 2008? Or maybe straight to DVD? No clue. Just don’t look for it on December 8th.
December 8th never made a lot of sense anyway. It's always looked like more of a January of February movie to me. You know those months where they dump all the crap superhero movies that aren't Spider-Man, Superman, or Batman. Elektra and Ghost Rider territory. If it does get a theatrical release, I'm being it ends up somewhere around then.
