The G.I. Joe movie has another castmember, and it’s Darth Maul.

Slashfilm says they’ve confirmed that former dark jedi Ray Park has been cast in Stephen Sommers’ big screen, live-action version of GI Joe as Snake-Eyes. Presumably this is because Snake Eyes is a part which requires acting with your fist. Park’s more of a stuntman than an actor, and thus pretty dang good at hitting people in the face.

Snake-Eyes is one of the original members of the GI Joe team, and generally regarded as a fan favorite. I guess he’s kind of like Joe’s Bumblebee, except with a sword… and legs… and ok he’s not a car at all nor is he cute. But people like him and he’s one of the GI Joe good guys, an expert in hand to hand combat. He dresses like a ninja, which either means he’s delusional or pretty good at being stealthy.

That brings the G.I. Joe movie cast to two so far. Already cast in the film is Sienna Miller, as a character named Baroness.
