This past weekend, a two-headed rumor came out about the upcoming superhero team-up movie The Avengers. The first rumor said that the film would feature the on-going and epic battle between the alien species known as the Skrulls and the Kree, the other said that Disney pop princess Demi Lovato would have a role in the movie. The first story was quickly debunked as a research error by a reporter at the Albuquerque Journal, but the Lovato talk has been irking Marvel fans for the past few days. Allow me to put you at ease. The Playlist contacted representatives for the Disney star who have denied the rumors, saying that there's no truth to them.

Since the Marvel/Disney deal went through, people have been terrified that the likes of Miley Cyrus would invade the Iron Man movies, but the truth is that it probably won't happen. Don't worry, Marvel fans - the studio knows better than to cast Justin Bieber as Ant-Man (or at least we can pray that they do).
