Warner Bros. announced this morning that Dirty Harry will be returning. Their announcement says he’ll do so in the form of a video game, made with the participation of Clint Eastwood who will loan his voice and face to the game character.
But Movie Hole has some much more interesting news on the Dirty Harry front. They say that not only is a Dirty Harry video game being planned, but so is another movie! Apparently, screenwriter Sam Park has written a script for a new film, a sequel to the series that would have Clint reprising his iconic role. Of course the character will now be pretty old, so expect some sort of plot about coming out of retirement.
Are you interested in an old, decrepit Dirty Harry? Or perhaps more importantly is Eastwood? The film’s not officially happening yet, but MH rightly speculates that the renewed interest in the property generated from the upcoming video game might be enough to get Park’s movie project jumpstarted.
