Stan Lee may as well permanently attach a pair of Mickey Mouse ears to his bald head. Not only has Disney swallowed whole Marvel Entertainment, the company that Lee once ran and basically defined with characters like Spider-Man, but THR is now reporting that Disney has acquired a 10% stake and "enhanced rights" in POW!, Lee's company for original characters and stories not already under the Marvel banner.

Disney has had a first-look deal with POW! since 2007, but no projects have yet come to light as a result. But given that Disney will have to focus on some less-popular characters in the early years of its Marvel partnership, given that names like Iron Man and Spider-Man are tied up at other studios, it makes sense that it would want to expand even further into the world of the obscure. Stan Lee had the juice at one point to make up new characters from whole cloth, so let's see if he can do it again for ol' Walt!
