Divergent Movie Image Reveals The Dauntless Symbol

Divergent is currently in production in Chicago. We've already gotten two glimpses of the feature adaptation of Veronica Roth's novel, and today brings the above image, which reveals the movie's official version of the Dauntless faction symbol, a circle with flames in the center, to symbolize bravery, which is the trait the faction is most known for.
Vague book spoilers ahead!
Divergent is set in dystopian Chicago where society is broken up into five factions, which determine a person's way of life. The first book in the planned trilogy follows lead character Tris Prior, a teen who chooses to leave her family's faction, Abnegation (known for their selflessness), to join the fearless dauntless faction. EW shared the above image, which not only reveals the fiery black-and-white symbol for the faction, but also the credo:
We believe in freedom from fear, in ordinary acts of bravery, in defending those who cannot defend themselves.
Tris will aim to measure up to that credo as she begins her training and comes to understand her true nature as a "Divergent," which she comes to learn means she's not technically fit for any one faction.
The previously released images of the film show us just how dangerous training for Dauntless can be. The first one showed us Shailene Woodley's Tris as she stands with her back to a target while knives are thrown at her. The more recent one has her standing on a ledge, about to take a flying leap. And those are just two demonstrations of this characters' bravery.
Divergent arrives in theaters March 21. In addition to Woodley, the film stars Kate Winslet, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz, Ansel Elgort and Theo James.
We'll see the other faction symboles on the Divergent Instagram this Thursday.
