Though Fox’s Dragonball: Evolution has received little to no real marketing here in the United States, it’s a fairly significant phenomenon overseas where presumably, the word “Dragonball” doesn’t invite jokes about knights battling fire-breathing testicles. So it’s no surprise to discover that they might be considering a sequel. It is however, a surprise to learn that a sequel has already been written.
At least that’s what Evolution star Justin Chatwin claims. Speaking to SciFiNow he revealed that not only is he signed for a sequel but, “they already have the second script written.” Where will this next movie take him and his balls? Chatwin says, “it’s really, really cool. The second one goes more into the whole legacy and the genealogy of Dragonball. It goes more in-depth into a real Dragonball series, the kind of intergalactic world of Dragonball.”
