I’ve received countless e-mails begging for information about Elektra, the movie. Okay, maybe not countless emails. Maybe it was just one and I think it was from somebody in San Quentin. But for inmate 685436, I have the info you are looking for!
Besides seeing Jennifer Garner in spandex, and who doesn’t want to see that, what else do we know about Elektra. Frankly, I don’t know a thing about the character or the movie. Yet, I found an interesting article in USA TODAY about Elektra’s villain, Typhoid Mary. Ol’ Mary is a normal gal by day, but once night falls, she changes her eye color and has an affinity for knives. Who doesn’t? But that’s not her deadliest weapon. With one kiss, Mary can spread Typhoid to a victim and kill them.
Uh..typhoid? Is that still a disease? How about we modernize the character a bit. How about calling her Genital Warts Jill or something. Talk about a climactic scene!
Elektra hits theatres in January 2005.
