The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis And Lilo And Stitch Will Hit Blu-ray In 2-Movie Combo Packs
On June 11, Walt Disney Home Entertainment is putting together a slew of new Blu-rays in 2-movie collections that will allow fans to nab two movies for the price of one. For $29.99, Fans can purchase Lilo and Stitch in a combo pack with Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch, The Emperor’s New Groove in a combo pack with Kronk’s New Groove, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire in a combo pack with Atlantis: Milo’s Return.
The three movies discuss alien life forms in Hawaii and lost kingdoms, and even a wild tale of an emperor who turns into a llama. Vocal talent involved with the films includes David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, and Patrick Warburton in the Emperor’s New Groove set. Michael J. Fox, James Garner, John Mahoney, and James Arnold star in the movies in the Atlantis set. Finally, Daveigh Chase, Dakota Fanning, Chris Sanders, and Tia Carrere star in the Lilo and Stitch films.
Interestingly, fans who purchase any of the three Blu-rays will also receive DVD copies of both films within the same set. Currently, there are no special features listed with any of the three combo pack sets, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be extras. In fact, Walt Disney Home Entertainment has released similar 2-move collections in the past, including Mulan and Mulan II, that have come with a bunch of extras. Even if the Atlantis, Emperor’s New Groove, and Lilo and Stitch don’t come with extras, none of them will run particularly expensively, and Amazon already has the titles available for pre-order at an even cheaper price. If you do like any of these films and are missing them from your collection, next month may be a good time to buy. You can check out the cover arts for all three sets, below.
