The cast of the upcoming adaptation of Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game just keeps growing as it is being reported that Nonso Anozie, Stevie Ray Dallimore and Andrea Powell have all signed on for parts in the movie. Both Anozie and Dallimore had movies released this past January, with both The Grey and Joyful Noise arriving in theaters, while Powell last had a role in A Good Old Fashioned Orgy. The latter two actors will be playing Ender's parents, John and Theresa, while Anozie will be taking on the role of Sergeant Dap in the film.

The story is set in a future where aliens have landed on Earth and a battle has raged for years between the extraterrestrials and the humans. To prepare for the years of war ahead, the humans begin to establish battle schools where young, gifted children compete in a series of games and tests to determine which ones have the skills to lead the armies against the attacking forces. The movie already has Hugo's Asa Butterfield attached to play the title character and set to co-star are Hailee Steinfeld, Harrison Ford, Viola Davis, Ben Kingsley and Abigail Breslin. Gavin Hood, who is best known for directing X-Men Origins: Wolverine is handling directorial duties and writing the script.

Deadline reports that the film is scheduled to begin production this month and Summit Entertainment, which is handling both co-financing and distribution will be releasing the movie on March 15, 2013.
