Ender's Game Teaser Gets Fans Ready For Tuesday's Full Trailer
Apparently there’s a new trailer for Gavin Hood’s Ender’s Game arriving online tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6th. How do I know that? Because in today’s day and age, trailers get their own trailers, like the 20-second spot posted to Apple that lets fans know the real trailer is on its way. Got it?
The latest clip – different from the first trailer – gives us comprehensive looks at the massive sci-fi worlds Hood has constructed from Orson Scott Card’s seminal novel. It establishes young Asa Butterfield (Hugo) as the chosen warrior meant to protect our planet from an extraterrestrial invasion. Better yet, why don’t we let the studio’s official synopsis, released today in conjunction with this trailer, set up the story?
Surprisingly, a lot of the footage in this trailer was on display in the Ender’s Game interactive exhibit that was on display at San Diego Comic-Con. In that fan zone, we were able to absorb footage, interact with authentic movie props, and check out the costumes worn by Ford, Kingsley and Butterfield. You can also read our complete rundown of the Ender’s Game Comic-Con panel right here.
You may also remember that late last week we got a brand new poster for the movie, which is now available in high-res. Check it out below and click to see it full size.
The full Ender’s Game trailer will be online at noon ET / 9am PT on the iTunes’ movie trailer page. We’ll have it for you as well, so keep it right here, Ender’s fans.
