Fake Rich Or Die Trying
You might remember awhile back we brought you word on a little upcoming Indie movie called $30,000 Millionaires. The concept is great. It's a movie about total frauds. You know, the guy who drives a brand new Mercedes and hangs out at all the trendiest clubs, but crashes in his parents' basement and goes to work every day at a thankless job in a Wal Mart warehouse. We're absolutely overrun with these parasites here in Dallas, but I'm sure you've got your share wherever you are as well.
$30,000 Millionaires is a movie all about these people, guys who fake being rich just to put forth a pretentious image, exaggerating their incomes to impress and score with the scene's hottest hotties. Don't you just want to kick these guys in the nuts?
So the movie's actually getting made, and they've launched their official website along with the first trailer for the film. I've got to be honest, the trailer makes it look an awful lot like "Nip/Tuck", and that's not really what I was expecting or hoping for. But it doesn't show a lot, since production is just getting going, so it's hard to tell just from this ad if that's exactly the tone the film is going for.
Either way, click here to visit the brand new $30,000 Millionaire website, watch the trailer, and get a feel for the movie yourself. The concept is golden, and that makes the movie worth your time.
