Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them Video Reveals New Footage From The Harry Potter Spinoff
With the Celebration of Harry Potter in full swing in Universal Orlando, some very exciting tidbits from the Harry Potter universe have spread like fiendfyre among fans of JK Rowling's magical world. That includes this new look at the anticipated feature adaptation of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them…
Coming to us via Pottermore, the above featurette not only offers us some insight into what we can expect from this Harry Potter spinoff, but we also get a few new glimpses of the film, which is based on the bonus book and Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. As the video notes, Fantastic Beasts will star Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who "only meant to stay in New York for a few hours." Naturally, things didn’t go as planned.
We already know that Newt’s suitcase full of magical beasts plays a crucial role in this story, but that is even more apparent in this new video, which shows numerous characters carrying it, including Newt…
As well as Tina (Katherine Waterson)…
And then there’s Jacob (Dan Fogler), who’s also seen carrying a case…
As Dan Fogler mentioned in the featurette, his character is trying to get his life together and looking to open a bakery…
We see Jacob dressed in a suit, walking and carrying a case at one point. And then we also see him sitting down at a desk, about to open a case, right around the time Fogler mentions Jacob’s interest in opening a bakery…

Is it safe to assume that's Newt's case? Or is it possible Jacob has his own case? Maybe he's in that office on bakery business?
Curious.
Alison Sudol’s character Queenie isn’t seen with the case, but we do see her looking lovely and waving a wand…
Also brandishing a wand, and looking rather dapper, is Colin Farrell, who plays Graves in the film…
The video also gives us a glimpse of the outside of the Woolworth Building, which we know to be the exterior to MACUSA, the U.S.'s version of the Ministry of Magic...
Directed by David Yates, based on a screenplay by Harry Potter scribe JK Rowling, herself, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them arrives in theaters November 18, 2016.
Check out the previously released teaser on the next page…
