Fantastic Fest Scott Pilgrim Poster Revealed, Goes On Sale Tomorrow
If you live near Austin, Texas and are excited for the release of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, you're in for a treat. As part of the build up to Fantastic Fest, which starts on September 23rd, a special screening of the movie is being held at the Alamo Drafthouse, where director Edgar Wright and the cast will be in attendance. But for those unwilling or unable to make the trip down, two special edition posters by artist Martin Ansin have been drawn up for the event and will be available for purchase tomorrow.
While the second design won't be available until tomorrow, promoters have sent over a look at the first one and, much like the rest of the promotional material for the film, it is quite cool. Showcasing the epic battle between Scott (Michael Cera) and Gideon Graves (Jason Schwartzman) on the bottom, the top is displays the seven evil exes as well as Scott's first drawing of Ramona inside of a heart. Just be careful not to stare at Matthew Patel on the right side for too long. Nobody likes having nightmares.
Check out the poster below and click on it to see it full size. This poster, as well as second one that will be revealed tomorrow, will be available for purchase over at MondoTees tomorrow.
