Farrellys Return For The Womb
No longer able to produce quality, Peter and Bobby Farrelly seem to be opting for quantity. The Something About Mary duo haven't been worth noticing since 1998, but now they've got a whole new slew of movies headed your way. Oh, and they've just added another.
The Hollywood Reporter says a romantic comedy called Baster is being put on their coming soon schedule. The Farrellys are already working on a movie called The Heartbreak Kid and then there's that Three Stooges movie which never seems to completely disappear from the rumor-mill. Who knows if they'll really ever get around to doing that. They're also supposed to be writing an untitled movie for 'Mind of Menica" star Carlos Mencias.
Baster is not at all about the most notorious psycop on 'Babylon 5', which is pretty bad news for the out-of-acting Walter Koenig. Instead Allan Loeb's screenplay is based on a short story by Virgin Suicides author Jeffrey Eugenides. The story is about a woman's longing for a baby. So the guys who made a joke out of mistaking jism for hair gel are now making a movie about the female's need to fill her womb.
