No this isn't some early casting news for Heidi Montag's guaranteed blockbuster, the first 3D beach comedy shark attack movie. Rapper turned "actor" Curtis Jackson, otherwise known as "Shot nine times" 50 Cent (pronounced Fiddy), is continuing to claw his way into Hollywood by playing a loan shark in Dead Man Running.
The film follows the story of an ex-convict in debt to a ruthless loan shark who has given him 24 hours to repay what is owed. Details don't get any deeper than than that just yet, but the film also stars a few "that guy"s in the form of Brenda Blethyn, Danny Dyer, and Tamer Hassan, who you can see as Ares this week in Clash of the Titans.
Running was completed in 2009 but has been distributor-less until now when Phase 4 Film picked up the feature, according to THR. With some sort fascination with dead men moving at varying speeds, the company also released the Jim Sturgess starrer 50 Dead Men Walking late last year, which you can catch on Netflix Watch Instantly.
