Fifty Shades Of Frozen Viral Vid Puts A Steamy Spin On The Disney Hit
Do you want to build a passionate, filthy, S&M snowman? Frozen and Fifty Shades of Grey both have identifiable target demographics. And those audience members predominantly are female – though they are separated in age by several decades. The two demographics shouldn’t really crisscross. Well, older women can enjoy Frozen, but pint-sized Disney Princesses probably shouldn’t attend a Fifty Shades of Grey screening. Which is why this mash-up, posted above, feels so … dirty!
YouTube user Tranceart Violeta took the audio from the recent Fifty Shades of Grey trailer and applied it to Disney’s smash animated hit Frozen, coming up with the viral vid Fifty Shades of Frozen. No, you filthy reader, the forbidden love isn’t between Elsa and Anna. Instead, the "Mr. Grey" from the Frozen world is Hans, the Southern Isles prince who ventures to Arendelle to win the heart of a single princess… and causes all kinds of problems.

The synch of the lips on the Frozen characters is hysterically perfect for the Fifty Shades of Grey audio. I especially love how they figured out how to animate the sultry exhale at the end of the Fifty Shades trailer. Great selection.
These trailer mash ups are nothing new, though this Frozen one is one of the better ones we have seen. For various reasons, creative editors like to synch family-themed animation to violent films, like this Walt Disney’s Sin City clip:
Now let’s pray that moms don’t mistake Fifty Shades of Grey as a Frozen sequel, and plan a family night at the movies next February.
