Just when you thought the Iron Man hype couldn’t possibly get any hotter, Paramount’s marketing department goes and sets the whole thing on fire again. Right on the heels of a string of absolutely brilliant trailers, they’ve released the movie’s final, kickass poster. Hold on, it’s a floating heads poster… but a good floating heads poster. Floating heads don’t have to suck.
It’s well designed and it has a total old school, epic feel to it. It makes me think of the best of Lucas and Spielberg in the 80s. This could be a poster for Star Wars or Indiana Jones, and after how much insane anticipation has now been generated for this movie I’m starting to think that if it’s anything less than that people are going to be really disappointed.
