Not content to let Piranha 3D and the coming sequel-- Piranha 3DDD, of course-- steal all the schlocky fish thunder, Snakes on a Plane director David R. Ellis will be back this September with Shark Night 3D. At one point he was hoping to call it Untitled 3D Shark Thriller, and actually admitted to hating the Shark Night title, which is to-the-point but kinda generic. Apparently the title has stuck though, as we've been sent the first image from the film, which shows off everything the title promises plus some bare skin too.

The movie also stars Dustin Milligan, Joel David Moore, Chris Carmack and Katharine McPhee, and you can safely assume only one or two of them will make it to the end credits. Shark Night 3D opens Labor Day Weekend, on September 2 this year.
