I’m running out of ways to effervesce about how excited everything about Pineapple Express has me. The trailer is awesome, the cast is genius, I’m primed and ready to laugh my ass off when the movie finally hits theaters this summer. Now we have a poster to throw on the heap of great stuff we’ve seen from Pineapple Express.
It stars Seth Rogen as lazy stoner Dale Denton and James Franco as his lazy dealer Saul Silver (James Franco). When Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city's most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of rare weed at the scene. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they're not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia; incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both.
See the poster below. Anyone else feel like they’re looking at some sort of weird riff on zombie flicks? Except of course for the ridiculous stoner guffaw Franco has going on. It's a solid one sheet, though if they're going to include that guy from the Foot Fist Way trailer, shouldn't his name be on the poster along with Franco and Rogen's? Weird. Take a look:
