First Poster For Oliver Stone's Savages Is Here

There's a type of movie poster that is really starting to grow in popularity. I'm referring to the horizontal blinds format. You may remember it from Alejandro González Iñárritu's 2006 film Babel, Robert Schwentke's 2010 movie Red, or even last year's I Melt With You, but today we have found yet another movie that is showing off its ensemble cast in stripe form.

The first one-sheet for Oliver Stone's Savages, has arrived online, showing off its brilliant lineup of performers, including Taylor Kitsch, Benicio Del Toro, Blake Lively, Salma Hayek and John Travolta (as well as a mystery person behind a mask). The movie is Stone's first since 2010's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. You can see it below, but to see it in its highest resolution head over to JoBlo.

Based on the novel by Don Winslow and adapted by Winslow and Shane Salerno, the story centers on a pair of young pot growers (Kitsch, Aaron Johnson) who run into trouble when their shared girlfriend (Lively) is kidnapped by a very dangerous Mexican drug cartel and must work together to get her back. Also in the film but not featured on the poster are Uma Thurman, Emile Hirsch, Joel David Moore, Demian Bichir, and Trevor Donovan. Savages arrives in theaters on July 6th and you can read more about the movie in our Blend Film Database.
