First Trailer For Silent Hill: Revelation 3D
It's been six years since the last Silent Hill movie hit theaters, but this falls the video game series returns to theaters. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is set to make its debut in October with writer/director Michael J. Bassett at the helm and a cast that includefs Sean Bean, Kit Harington (Game of Thrones reunion!), Carrie-Anne Moss, Radha Mitchell, Malcolm McDowell, Martin Donovan and Adelaide Clemens. Despite the fact that the film is due out so soon, however, we have seen very little from it, the only footage coming in the form of an extended clip from earlier in July. Well, today we get a full preview.
Yahoo! has debuted the first official trailer for the movie, which does a pretty effective job reintroducing us to the world and also introducing us to some of the new characters. Check it out below!
The film stars Clemens as Heather Mason, a young woman who comes home one day to discover that her father, Harry Mason (Bean), has been taken. The only hint of where he has gone comes in the form of a note on the wall that reads "Come To Silent Hill). With help from her friend Vincent (Harington), she enters the alternate reality to find her father, but also uncovers answers to mysterious questions from her own childhood. Silent Hill: Revelation 3D will be released on October 26th.
