The Wackness has a new trailer. This is their fourth one, though they’re calling it the “official trailer”. It’s not bad. There seems however, to be a concerted effort to pimp the fact that one of the Olsen twins is in it. Don’t worry folks, she plays a tiny part and if you go in without the knowledge that she’s in it you might not even realize that it’s her.
They’re also pushing the soundtrack pretty heavily in this trailer. I’m not sure how well that will work. The soundtrack is brilliant, a huge part of the reason the movie’s so good, but does it really mean anything out of context?
So the question is… The Wackness is one of the best movies of the year. Does this trailer make you want to see it? Or, like so many of the others, does it make you think I’m batty for loving it? Take a look, and whether or not the trailer does anything for you, get over to the movie's official site and just let the background music play. Your ears need it.
