Garry Marshall Shows His Dark Side
Acclaimed Rom-Com director Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) has decided on his next project, and it involves a threesome of lovely ladies.
Variety reports that Marshall will direct a new dark comedy called Georgia Rule, starring Lindsay Lohan, Felicity Huffman, and Jane Fonda. The script is written by Mark Andrus, who wrote the 1997 obsessive-compulsive hit As Good As It Gets.
The story is about a rebellious young woman (in a real stretch, played by Lindsay Lohan), who is sent by her mother (Huffman) to spend the summer with her grandmother (Fonda). Further details are not released, but something tells me that Lohan will be a girl-gone-wild and her grandma will bore her with endless stories of her youth.
Filming is due to begin late this summer in Los Angeles.
