A hot redhead is something that should never be taken for granted, but, unfortunately, Gillian Anderson's career has fizzled since the end of The X-Files. Formally one of the most popular staples on television, the actress hasn't played a major role in years, despite possessing great talent. It's unfortunate that her career has forced her to accept roles in movies like Johnny English Reborn - yes, a sequel to the Rowan Atkinson failure from 2003. Deadline reports that Anderson has accepted the role of Pamela Head, an MI7 secret agent who works alongside Atkinson's character.
It's sad that they're even making a sequel (though understandable considering it was an international success), but even sadder that Anderson has to take cheap "special agent" roles just to pay the bills. She is so much better than this.
