Ever since our own Eric Eisenberg raved about it at the Los Angeles Film Festival back in May, we here at Cinema Blend have been looking forward to Drive, the latest movie that will make you envy Ryan Gosling's effortless badass cool. Directed by Bronson's Nicolas Winding Refn, Drive follows Gosling's unnamed character, a stunt driver by day and a getaway driver by night. He's got a lot of rules for how to stay distant from his criminal clients and stay out of trouble, but it wouldn't be much of a movie if the rules didn't get broken and trouble didn't find him all the same.
With Drive opening next week on September 16, many more people are learning what Eric did back in June-- namely that Drive is a gripping, unique, beautifully made and fairly heartbreaking movie, difficult to define but incredibly hard to forget.
