Giveaway: Win A Blu-ray Copy Of Safety Not Guaranteed
While the premise behind Colin Trevorrow’s Safety Not Guaranteed sounds like a riotous comedy, it’s really more theoretical and romantic than a comedy would allow. The film won the Waldo Screenwriting Award at Sundance—and was nominated for best drama—during its turn at bat. Despite the laud, the film was never released wider than 182 theaters, which means there should be plenty of interested parties waiting to catch the flick when it hits homes.
Safety Not Guaranteed is coming to Blu-ray on October 30. To celebrate, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is giving away a Blu-ray copy of the film for one lucky fan. The rules are listed in full, below, but be sure to fasten your seatbelt before proceeding, as your safety will absolutely, under no circumstances, be assured.
While the movie is the highlight of the set, the Blu-ray will come with a few extras, including a “behind-the-scenes” segment and the true story of the Safety Not Guaranteed ad. In the meantime, you can learn more about the film (and if you’re not feeling lucky, even pre-order it) over at Amazon.
Entering the giveaway is easy. Just click on over to our Facebook Contest Page, "Like" our page if you haven't already, and then leave a comment telling us where you would most like to journey if you could go on a time traveling mission (I’m thinking ancient Egypt). The contest ends at noon EST on Monday, October 29. If you enter, please make sure we can contact you via Facebook message. If you have your privacy set to where we can't message you, your prize will go to somebody else.
The winner will be notified via Facebook direct message and asked to provide their mailing addresses (no P.O. boxes please). Only U.S. residents may apply. Prize packs will be mailed directly to the winner. No purchase necessary. Failure to comply with the rules will result in disqualification and subsequent mockery. Good luck!
