For A Good Time Call Is Hitting Blu-ray In January
For A Good Time Call…, the raunchy and spirited comedy about two women who learn about friendship while also figuring out how to run a successful sex hotline, is coming to Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download on January 22, 2013. That’s still a ways away for a flick that hit theaters way back in August, but there’s good news at the end of the tunnel.
For A Good Time Call… has been available via most On Demand outlets for weeks, now. For those hoping to catch the flick, this may be a good option to preview before deciding whether or not to purchase a physical copy. The movie stars the always-vivacious Ari Graynor, Seth Rogen’s wife, Lauren Anne Miller (the actor himself has a cameo in the film), and Justin Long. When Miller’s character, Lauren, finds herself broken up with and without a home, she asks her friend to find her temporary accommodations. She ends up with Graynor’s Katie, a free-spirited individual who works at various odd jobs. Though they display opposite personalities, Miller and Graynor offer plenty of quips and spunky dialogue. It’s not even close to the best comedy of the year, but it is cute.
If you are looking to purchase a hard copy of the flick, it will be available via DVD format, as well as in a Blu-ray combo pack. Blu-ray copies will include both the theatrical and unrated versions of the funny flick. So far, Universal Studios Home Entertainment hasn’t put together a list of extras, but we do have the cover art, pink phones and ridiculous leopard dress intact.
