Hero Blend #34: How Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Can Improve In Season 2
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had some very interesting highs and lows during its first season on the air. After getting huge ratings in the very beginning, the numbers started to fall as fans became impatient with the lack of superhero and well-known established comic book characters. By the time the season began to come to a close, however, the events featured in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier completely changed everything and set forth a very interesting course for Season 2 to follow.
So where are we at? Now that S.H.I.E.L.D. has fallen due to the infiltration of HYDRA, Agent Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) has been tasked with building the organization back up from the ground floor with the help of his specially selected team. But there are still some major mysteries floating around. Is the Kree blood in Coulson’s system driving him completely insane? Are we going to learn exactly where Skye (Chloe Bennett) came from? What kind of threats – supernatural and otherwise – still exist in the world that they have to be watchful for? What will happen with Ward (Brett Dalton) now that he has been outed as a mole and locked up? How will the coming Agent Carter and Marvel Netflix shows change things? The answers to all of these questions should lead to some very interesting television.
Helping me sort through all of the madness that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 2 promises to deliver on this week’s episode of Hero Blend is my very good friend Silas Lesnick from ComingSoon.net/Most Craved. Don’t waste any more time – hit the big play button above and watch the show!
