The Hills Have A Trailer
Have you had your fill of road trips gone awry, leading the victims to get stranded and tortured by crazed lunatics? Well, too bad, because another one is on its way.
The Hills Have Eyes, a remake of the 1977 classic horror film from Wes Craven, is hitting theaters on March 10, 2006. This new version stars Desmond Askew, Tom Bower, and Emilie de Ravin (the blonde Aussie mommy from "Lost"). It will be adapted and directed by Alexandre Aja (High Tension), with hopefully a far less idiotic ending than his previous project.
You can check out the trailer here. The film is about an american family that gets stranded in a nuclear government zone, where blood-hungry mutants dwell. Not quite the family vacation they were hoping for.
The trailer looks like pretty standard horror stuff, except for the bizarre usage of the song "California Dreaming" from the Mamas & The Papas. At the very least, you can have some good music to listen to while watching more-of-the-same.
