Hitchhiker Helmers Speak
Websites more stylish, flashy, and better written than this one (though not nearly as dedicated to Hithchhiker’s Guide love) were allowed to send in questions from their readers for the guys making the all important movie adaptation of Douglas Adams’ “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. Being run by sensible creatures, they did.
The first website to post the answers is CHUD. The answers from helmers Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith contain fan friendly nuggets like DVD plans, “I like the idea, that when we release the DVD, you get the actual film as the bonus DVD. We have filmed a lot of extras.” Also included is discussion of a Bill Nighy chase in which, “Bill Nighy, [is] driving a golf cart down the corridor of Elstree Studios and being chased by the Big Brother security team.”
Read the full interview to find out why Garth thought the script was rubbish before he even read it.
Then come back here because we’re pathetic and desperate for traffic.
