Hitman Hires Writer
The adapting of videogames into movies continues unabated. Maybe if Doom flops this weekend it’ll slow down a little, though I doubt it.
The Movie Blog says a movie version of the game Hitman is on the way, and no it isn’t being directed by Uwe Boll. Not because he didn’t want it, but probably because he only has so much time to fit in the films he has now before that German tax loophole closes and he vanishes forever.
But the big news is that in addition to casting the rapidly fading Vin Disel in the Hitman movie’s lead role, they’ve hired screenwriter Skip Woods to write the thing. Skip wrote the movie Swordfish, a film famous primarily for the display of Halle Berry’s bosoms, and thus doesn’t do much to recommend his writing.
In related news, someone snapped a picture of Halle Berry’s feet, and claims that she has eleven toes! I find this a little hard to swallow. Weren’t her feet on display in that pool scene in Swordfish? Hard to remember, my attention was distracted um… elsewhere. But the photo has to have been photo shopped. This can’t be true. More on this important story as it develops somewhere else.
