It’s always weird to see pictures from movie sets where the actors are in crazy costumes. It must be hard enough to focus as an actor when you’re dressed as an Orc/princess/alien/Presidential candidate/whatever, but when you’ve got a whole crew full of dudes wearing jean jackets? That’s what they pay the actors for I guess.
Anyway, the new pictures from the set of Wolfman, over at Ain’t It Cool, remind me of this, with all the shots of Benicio del Toro walking around covered in blood and some random crew members looking really uninterested. I guess the appeal of being in Benicio del Toro’s presence wears off after a while, but come on guys! Photos are being taken, and you are in the presence of an Oscar winner!

It looks like the Wolfman will be going through some brutal transformations from human to wolf, or at least has a nasty encounter somewhere along the way. The AICN points out that in one photo, up on the right, del Toro really has the lumber going on—don’t ask me how, but he’s totally evoking a wolf. I’m not sure this movie will be anything other than 100% silly, but it looks like del Toro will be putting in yet another deeply committed performance.
