Though the Iron Man 3 trailer has been scheduled to debut this Tuesday for a while now, a viral game on Facebook to "recharge Tony Stark's arc reactor" has allowed fans to unlock a sneak preview of the trailer a few days early. In the typical fashion of trailer previews, it shows you very little-- just glimpses at a few key characters, including Pepper Potts in what looks like serious peril.
The trailer preview debuted at Facebook, and you can also watch it embedded below.
So if you look closely, past all the shots of the new Iron Man armor and Tony mobbed by reporters, you see a very, very brief glimpse of Ben Kingsley as the main villain Mandarin-- at least, I'm assuming that's him with the top knot on his head. Based on the official synopsis released recently, it sounds like the Mandarin has a very personal axe to grind with Tony Stark this time around, and if you're wondering why you never saw Tony's Malibu mansion in this footage, that's because it no longer exists after the beginning of this film. Yes, even the fight between Rhodey and Tony at his part in the ill-fated Iron Man 2 didn't cause the level of damage we'll be seeing here.
