Jesse Eisenberg May Have Shaved His Head To Play Lex Luthor
Head’s up! We have a bald-faced rumor regarding the looks of a certain super villain in Batman v Superman: Chrome Dome of Justice.
OK. Enough with the hair puns. Let’s get right down to it. We all want to know if Jesse Eisenberg is going to go the full Heisenberg when preparing to play Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder’s Dawn of Justice. Hiding a bald head from curious journalists and wandering passersby with cell phones will prove difficult during the lengthy shoot. And yes, the folks at HenryCavillNews tweeted a montage of photos from the set of Snyder’s massive tentpole with a quick pic of Eisenberg covering his lid. It’s the one at the top, in this display.
Can you make anything out? Jesse Eisenberg isn’t getting out of the shower and drying off his beautiful mane, because as you can see on his arm, he’s wearing a button-down dress shirt. Could he be in a suit, prepared to tackle a boardroom meeting at Lex Corp. with his signature bald head? And here’s the best question: Does it matter? Is Lex still Lex if he has hair? I mean, Kevin Spacey might have gone the full cue ball in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns.
But Gene Hackman regularly had hair when he reprised Lex Luthor again and again in the earlier Superman movies.
If Eisenberg is going to do a bald "reveal," he needs to top Karen Gillan’s outstanding wig-pull at San Diego Comic-Con two years ago, after she shaved her gorgeous red hair for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
What do you think? Is Jesse Eisenberg hiding a freshly shorn head in the pics above? Do you want to see a bald Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Or will it be cool, no matter what the villain looks like?
